1. Goals of Education
The BPAMS aims to equip students with fundamental material sciences abilities, including nano-,
optoelectronic, biomedical and macromolecular materials, and to develop their professional material
sciences skills for career opportunities in education, business, or industries. Therefore, our goals of
education are:
(1) Enrich the fundamental knowledge of advanced material sciences
(2) Emphasize the ability of self-expression
(3) Strengthen the ability to experiment and team spirit
(4) Develop an international perspective and international exchanges
2. Strategy
(1) We aim to impart the fundamental nowledge of advanced material sciences and the skills of the
industrial applications to the students. We expect those students possess the abilities to solve the
advanced material sciences-related problems.
(2) We conduct “group discussion” for the students, enhance their self-expression abilities, and make
them having the abilities to response accordingly to the requirement and changes of their
employment.
(3) We attempt to train students how to operate, carry out, and verify all experiments. Thus, the
students will have good organization, communication and team-working abilities, which make
them could solve any difficulties them would encounter in the future.
(4) We will enhance the students’ international perspective through some specific courses and the
international exchanges activities with overseas sister schools.
